Problem with dvdregionX

I have a jap. 15000 system with jap version of dvdregionx. Im not sure why it's not playing, but i put everything in, the card that came along with the dvdregionx and the disc, it goes and boots up and then ask which region i want to play, i put in region 1 and it ejects a disc out and i put the movie in, and nothing happens?

Am i doin something wrong here or missing a step to play the dvdregionx. Do you guys have instructions no how to work it.

I've searched their site and found no answer to my problem. and Im' not quite sure about this dvdid thing they mention cause I don't see it on my screen at all.

Basically, make sure you've chosen the correct region disc (ie. 1 for North America, etc, etc), replace your disc. Push the Eject button to close the tray, and then it should dump you to the browser.

Highlight the Gold DVD disc, and push Circle. It should load then.

I did put it on dvd region 1 and then it ejects on its own and pop my movie in and close the case, and it does nothing from there? also my dvd info are in a memory card, that's how they are, could that be the problem?

oh i forgot to mention i have a m2 chip, what are the instructions to that to playing dvd movies?

Ah....there lies your problem. You have to disable it before you can use it properly, otherwise it tries to authenticate everything as a PS2 disc.

You could try and boot it in PSX mode too.

hold down reset long enough till it boots, then do it.
i can confirm it will work if you hold reset for 2 secs, but will Guarantee 100% only with Messiah 2 to work if you hold reset down until the Cubes appear on the screen.

, but do you guys know where I could find instructions to operate the system, I mean are there any other specific instructions I need in order to do other things?

when u run dvdregion x, it's running in ps2 mode. thus the modchip is sending all the ps2 booting codes.
the dvd will also be read in ps2 mode, which, of cuz, won't work.
disable the chip/sleep mode and try again.
