problem with dms3 while flashing –
a few days ago i tried to flash my dms3 chip to 1.8
but it was stuck when it said "programming flash do not turn off"
then i turned of the ps2 and i can only play original games, not the one's i burned.
i tried to boot the update cd by tapping reset 3 times or even more, but it never worked,i tried this so many times now and it still doesnt boot this damn cd.
i can't figure out how to push the reset button excactly so i can get the cd to run.
need help please!
tap the reset button when the blue light comes on ten times. This will reset the firmware
Installs for $50 PM me
i tried this very often, but it doesnt work!
after the blue bubbles only comes the screen with the memory card and the the cd!
if you have ar or gs do a cogswap
Hey, try flashing it again, before you press X to start the process, hit Eject. I think the DMS3 chip has a fail-proof firmware protection (or something like that), if even if something happens while you're upgrading it, there shouldn't be a problem. Correct me if I'm wrong.
i know, but i can't run the old firmware again, because tapping reset 3 or more times doesnt work for me
