Problem disconnecting the ribbon cables for a V1 PS2, plz help.

Ok I did search for this, I swear. I know this has been discussed before, seen it myself but strangly can't find anything during search. I don't even think the search function works normally. I searched for the word "dissasemble", got some hits and while reading I noticed someone used the word "apart". So I searched for "apart" and I got nothing

So could someone help me with disconnecting these cables. They seem super fragile and I know many have broken them. I of course want to disconnect all the cables, that includes the weird orange one

there cliped on

flick the brown clip up and pull out after ribbons is out close the clip just incase you dont break anything

Sweet, thanks. There was a little arrow pointing towards the cable so I thought I had to slide it but it didn't move

. Flicking it up did the trick.

What about the orange one. I'm guessing it's just pushed onto somekind of connector. Tried to lift it seems really stuck in there. Any suggestions? Don't want to apply too much force until I know what I'm dealing with

orange one you musr mean the one that goes to the expansion bay

its a piss get your trusty fingure nail out (if you have any) and flick it up it maybe a lil hard at first but it does come off
