Prob with my ps2 PLZ HELP!!!

hey how y'all doing...i got a chipped slimeline ps2...the problem is that i only can play genuine ps2 games and burnt ps2 games...i can also watch burnt dvd's but not real genuine dvd's....i cant play ps1 games or watch vcd's...when i stick either a ps1 game, vcd or a genuine dvd...it just loads up at the screen with the memory card and stays there....if i open up the lid and close it...it just says reading disc and stays like that for ages and does nothing....could anyone plz help me....any help would be good...

Try holding down the power button for 3 seconds for psx games.

tried it and it dont work...it comes up with a red screen sayin plz put a playstation or playstation 2 disc in it or something with ps1 games...but it works fine with dvd's...and i dont know what chip was stuck in it...no i dea...anyway i can tell??

try hold reset for 3 sec and then - double click it (realy fast clicking %)

and u should know what a chip in your ps2 is, can ask at shop where u get it ?
