If you have a v9 DMS 3 installed in your ps2, does it play PAL games? I burned a copy of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and it loaded, and the color was good, but the screen kept on flashing and it showed like one of those old tv's that you have to twist a nob in the back to make the image stay in place, or else it goes up like it is playing too slow. I have a 60,000 dollar 120 inch Movie Theatre HD TV, and have had no problems with it, so i bet it ain't my TV, but....does HD TV cables for PS2 change how the game looks on some games?

yes it'll play PAL games. but since theres an ntsc version of prince of persia, why are you trying to use the pal version?

and just because you can play pal games, doesnt mean they'll display properly.

and i also doubt you own a $60,000 tv, and not only cant get the right version of the game, know nothing about tv standards, andfeel some strange need to inform us of this fact when it has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

    i hate bullshitters.

How do u have ur PS2 connected to ur 6 million dollar tv, i bet by standard PS2 A/v cables, if so, get a pair of component cables and ur problem should go away.

I have component cables. I found out the problem, maybe one of you gurews out there can answer my question. The problem is with V-Hold, the ps2 sends out a signal that can be fixed with v-hold. I connected my ps2 using the standard a/v cables to a cheap tv I found at my base ment. And using the old v-hold on the back, I fixed the problem and it is working, just like the NTSC version . My new HD TV though doesn't have V-hold because it is suposendly suppose to fix anything it reseaves, which really sux. In the manual, it says, "if you have a problem with a progressing screen, make sure you fix your antena". ThAt SuKs! Any way, I am possitive the ps2 is sending the signal this way, not the tv recieving it, because I tested it with 3 tvs. And Prince of persia is the only pal game that does this, so when I want to play another game, I have to change the v-hold again. So does any one know how to fix this?

Sorry, I know did shit about the ps2, I modded it as a project for my highschool class: I heard it was really hard to do

either patch it with an ntsc patch, or get the ntsc version. we dont care about your tv.
