Pre-Modified PS2 with Magic 2, should I ?

Hi guys.

I saw this offer there:

A pre-modified PS2 with the Magic 2 modchip.

I wanted to know if this modchip is good, does it play EVERYTHING ? And, is the offer good or could I find better and if that the case, where ? I don't care about the modchip, as long as it's play everything without swapping and I prefer to order a pre-modified PS2 (US console), don't wanna mess with the console...

I think it's fair value provided you establish that the PS2 is brand new. Be careful about that one. I know nothing bad about Divineo, but the we site is not specific on that point.

The Magic 2 is a CLone (on which I've reported in this forum). It has a couple of limitations not found in Messiah 2.

1. It won't allow GS2 with codes on backups
2. It won't regularly boot DVD9 games - perhaps 1/10 tries

But it's still good value.

Om the other hand, you could also ask them what a pre-modded Messiah 2 console would cost; knowing what I do about Messiah 2 prices, a singleton should hit the streets at $60 so that would probably make the bundle $359.

But, what do you means, DVD9 won't boot or I will have to boot the disc many times before it works ? And, originals discs will do that too ? (sorry 'know nothing of modchip :/ )

When is Messiah 2 coming out ?
