power/reset button on duo 2 not work!!

i have a little weird prob. i was just installed my duo 2 on my v5 ps2 and power/reset button dosnet respond to switch on...but from the eject it turn on the machine,after i eject and put disc i push on the power/reset and it slide that in and work fine!! it work for that action but not for turn on the machine..i can turn it on just from eject button...ps2 original and backups games work fine but when i try to use psx or just disable the chip, i cant because i need to do the boot method and how i do that if my power/reset button dosent work...please someone can know what it could be..maybe some wire connection interruption or something else? please help me with that

Check your wiring. You may have gotten the RST wire mixed up with Z or something.
