Check out the picture here ... This is a V9 PS2

    http://img41.exs.cx/img41/190/mysteryvoltage.jpg

I saw that point being used for the PWR in someones modchip install ... But I don't know if its 3.3V or 5V

Do all modchips use the same voltage line ? What voltage does the duo2se use on a v9 motherboard ?

Duos use 5v. I remember seeing people use that point as well. But why not just stick with the 5V place I gave you yesterday? They're close enough.

That point you're looking at is a 3.3V spot. It's popular for the MagicV and Messiah series chips. They're designed for 3.3. You'll have to stick with 5V sources for the DUO's.

Yeah stick with the points I gave you in the picture yesterday. PWR doesn't have to be short, just ground.

You can use a multimeter to probe around the board for other points stick one one the regular 5V point and set the meter for continuity and try probing until you hear the happy beep
