Well, trust me, it's not worth it..
It's just like getting Swap Magic and taking the top off your ps2 in order to swap discs, so I advise you don't get one..
What version ps2 have you got? It'd be best to go for a Messiah 2 for v0-8 because those are less likely to **** up the ps2, unlike the DMS3 with crossing wires and such.
DMS3 is advised for v9-10, I think.. (I'm not familiar with those versions)
what's the point in wasting your money on a halfassed solution now, just to get a real chip in a couple months? just wait till you can get the dms3 or whichever chip you decide to go with.
i dont want to solder now but how long will it work
Trust me, you won't like how you have to do specific swaps for different games and apply patches and such, so don't get this chip.
If you desire, get a swap magic disc, open your ps2 and hide the screws somewhere, open the CDVD drive, hide those screws somewhere save, then using swap magic, when you're prompted to swap, take the CDVD drive cover off and swap the disc, it's the exact method.
this method is not good because i have 3 dogs and there are tooo many hairs but i got the chip for free and i swaped the ps1 games too i have the time to swap discs so will it work good or will it just destroy my ps2 because i dont install it before i have the confirmation that my ps2 will not die
