Pls help me

I have already written this post in "general" but doesnt get a reply so I trie here.

I have a v7 with a Matrix Infinity.

It worked fine for about a year then it stopped reading any media.
I messured the pots and the laser was dead. Now I have replaced it with a brand new laser, 400C, but it still doesnt work. It sounds like it is reading like hell (really loud) and then it gets DRE. I have tried to adjust the laser but with no good result.

What can I do ?

did you remove the anti static solder points from new laser.
was the original laser a 400c

Yes and yes :P

Could it be the BA-chip ? And how do I meassure it ?
