    Today I was installing matrix infinity chip which was fine for the most part, however there is significant bridging on some areas of the bios or whatever the main part you have to solder to is called. What would be a simple way to remove this bridged solder, while keeping the soldered wires in place (if possible)?

    go to radio shack and get desoldring braid cat#64-2090b flaten out the end and rub in past flux then place over briged points and touch with iorn take your time and dont place iorn on points for over 5seconds. Good luck

    true wire will have to go id say back out of your install now and test system b4 reinstalling chip.. Dont dig your hole to china!!

    for some one with difficultys soldering to the bios legs open up a disposable razer take the blade out cut it in to small pieces and use them be tween the legs when soldering use blue tack to keep them in place.

    I got the desoldering braid and it worked like a charm - you were right though, I had to resolder the points. Unfortunately however, I can't bloody find the scex point shown on the diagram. I have a v3 PAL ps2
