Please help! Problem with Matrix Infinity... –

Hi there.I got my matrix infinity today and I installed it on my
psx2 V9 by myself. When I tried to turn the psx2 on it would
only show a black screen. Then I tried to start it by holding the
Restart button and it worked normally.I tested it with 2 games
(original) and they worked fine. When I tried to play again by pressing
restart instantly and not by holding it down I got the same black
screen again.
I also tried to install firmware no 1.39 (by holding restart) but when
I press the start install button it freezes. Finally no special button works
(like Turning Off the Infinity by holding start etc)
Could please someone tell me what could be wrong? Does something
has to do with the bios because I read that when you hold the restart
button , matrix infinity resets the bios.
thanx

Guys an update.I reconnected the cables on the Infinity chip and now i managed
to run successfully the firmware update. Also the backup games of PSX and PSX2
work. When they load the screen sais Playstation2 and Infinity 1.39 below. But the
bad thing now is that none of the special menus work.I press R1 nothing ,I press
triangle +circle nothing. Its like the infinity chip doesnt work when I am at the
inro page of PSX2 (the one with the stars).Ideas anyone?

Send an email to the Matrix Team. They should have a good idea of which wires aren't properly connected if its just the menu that won't work.

just press the triangle + circle when you press reset button (so when it is booting) and not when the ps2 is on menu.

Have you got the Infinity Manager saved to your memory card already?

You don't need the Infinity manager on your memory card to run the config menu (to my knowledge).
Or am I missing something?
