    Please help

    I have pstwo v12 doesn't spin anymore after I apply diode fix. But the laser still Ok . What I can do ?

    And I have checked all fuses is OK and then all R 30K is OK too. But still not spinning and the laser still can move up & down.

    Are you sure that your R 30k have connection to the board?

    When you testet if the console worked, did you assemble it completly? because there are a small swicth just above the eject buttom. that detect if the lid it not closed = the drive dont spin....

    Yes I am sure the R 30 K connect properly and the lid closed properly too but still the disc is not spinning. And i have tested the pstwo without the lid by pressing 2 (two) switch which detecting if the lid is closed or not.

    And the result it just go to browser screen, nothing happened. Just like pstwo without inserting disc, just go to browser.

    stupid question but are the flat cabel to the drive pluged in proberly?

    Flat cable checked all ok and no problem

    I think it's very strange no fuses and r 30 k blew-up, but the motor cannot spin.

    Does the laser move when you put a disk in? Sounds like maybe you broke one of the sensors that tells the PSTwo the drive is closed if all the fuses are good. I think the combined LA/LB might also be to blame for this.
