    Hi! I got a ps2 modchip, however, I can't find the diagram of this chip. The chip written "MAGIC VII70K". I did search but no luck.

    Thanks for help

    That is one nasty matirx clone if it even is a clone of the matrix .. thats on a MCU chip .. Use matix infinty diagrams for your version.. good luck but i wuld just give the chip back to customer and inform him its a CRap $2 chip that will die ,,,

    I can't read the connections on the right side of the chip in that photo... can you list them?

    I agree with crans, it is probably a matrix infinity clone. The clones have been shown to work 100% if you don't want to change any default settings or flash the firmware.

    MCU chips life time are short lived. hes better off with hi end or some ice final clone

    Wait a second crans... are you saying the MCU chip wears out??? Or are you just saying the firmware gets outdated (yes, it does... but no different than something like ICE if the user doesn't have a fluffy 2 programmer... )

    On the right side: W,R,M,N,O,P,Q,T,U,V
    Onthe left side: B,F,G,H,I,A,S,Y,RE,J
    It have 2 GND points and use 3.3v

    What id the J point do?

    Not sure about the J point but yes, with that pinout it almost certainly sounds like a matrix infinity clone. Try installing the chip without the J point using the matrix infinity diagrams. I think it should work... :-)

    not even sure if it is a MI clone or how it will work i saw no 4mhz crystal..

    Yes it will. life span of those $.53 IC chips is shorte 2,000hrs or less. Fermware out date is alwase a problem as no flash upgrade but i wuldent worry about that any time soon. IF customer has no fluffy i can reprogram any sx baseed chip to ice final. Or they can buy a reddy flashed chip such as the h2o octapus and many other chips..
