its not so complicated prob!!... i have inverted prob from other ...my cd or cdr not load my ps2 v5 with duo 2 modchip..dvd and dvdr beackup work fine but when i try cd ps2 or cd psx it take me directly to the red screen..the weird thing is that the first time that i try the same cd it load that and it work but after the first it not load even a ten times..i need to mention that when i disabled the chip with the method and try psx original it work fine so i assume that the prob is connection with the chip or something ?maybe laser adjustment?? i just find the prob now because i just installed that before a month and until now i was play with dvdr games..please i am sure that someone can help me and tel me what the prob please

Laser is likely on the way out. That's how my first 2 Playstations died (RIP).
*New* laser took care of it. U Might be able to 'tweak' it...

no!!psx original not work with modchip enabled...and backups to..i need to disabled the modchip for psx original..because that i assume that is not prob of the laser but maybe wire connection weak..my question is..there is some wire that belong to cd on the chip?? because i know that dvd has wire that control just for him..(i mean from the chip to the board)
hope u understand..

if originals boot when the chip is disabled then its def the chip. Most likely a wire not making contact, or incorrectly wired.
