I got a v4 playstation that works fine (i just replaced the dvd laser) and i want it to be able to play backups! Where do i start?
I was thinking of a DMS3+ chip because i like all the great features!
I was looking at this forum and i read about some HDD thingy..is it like the Xbox thing where i can just put the game in and copy it over to the hard drive and play em or do i transfer the ISO's over to the HDD then put it in my PS2...some help?
Im basically asking for someone to lead me through the BEST OF THE BEST in PS2 modding...i dont care about fancy cases..i want to burn a game on a DVD and play it! (of course ones i legally own).
AIM = crunchychips89 (im almost always on, usually invisable)

Get a Matrix Infinity. DMS3+ is being left behind in the dust as they try to make more money with the DMS4. Matrix Infinity have all + soon-to-come V12 compatibility + autoboot + PAL 2 NTSC or vice versa (almost perfected). Go with the Matrix Infinity.

i would recommend the matrix infinity too.... as for the hdd issue, yes it's possible to boot games from a hdd just like the xbox has been able to do for a while. you can either copy the games onto your hard drive from your ps2, or you can put your hard drive in your computer, then copy the games from your pc straight onto the hdd.

Yes, matrix infinity is the way to go. Just installed it and its really awesome. Good thing I choose matrix infinity over dms3 I think.
