One thing is very helpful, if you need to get wire to other side of motherboard, you can pull the wires through the tiny vias the motherboards is full of.
Though you need about 0,15mm solid wire.
But the spots on the other side are often tiny vias too, so it's anyway good to use the tiny wire there.
Other thing what i've done, is to put little spots of hot glue where you would put wires to pass. Then when you start to pull the wires everywhere, just heat the tiny hot glue with soldering iron and put a wire in it.
My 2,5 cents![]()
Yea your right it's not really needed to use hot glue, but for example, in v18 (or whatever was the 9000x), there's those tiny ic legs, 4-5 wire fitted in maybe 2mm area. It's good to put a thin layer of hot glue on the opposite ic's head, and stick wires there after every solder.
This prevents that if you accidentally pull the wire too much or something, so that it wont deattach and you would need to solder that annoying small spot again.
I wish i had taken images![]()
