Playing Music cd problems. V7 Apple 2

Okay I installed a Apple two chip..Games work perfectly.. but when i try and play Music CD's it freezes about 8 seconds in the song..

Anyone know what could be causing this?

which mode did you set ur ps2 to play music cd?

music cd does not work in pSX/dvd mode.

for music cd u need to be in ps2 mode.

Yes that is what it is set in..I started it up and all the track apear
then it starts playing but stops after 10 seconds.

I just try it with a v4 and it works fine. odd, have u try it with another CD.

Did u start ur machine first, then put ur cd in on the browser screen?

this give me a chance to use my 37pin socket

v7 pal gho19 apple2

music cd ps2 mode starts then stops

music cd in ps1 mode plays fine

Thanks Guys...Yes The Audio Cd works great in PS1 mode..
