Im going to Canada for a few months and am taking my DMS3 chipped PS2 with me.
The question is will it work on an NTSC TV?
If not is there naything I can do to make it work?

most likely not, you're gonna probably need a pal to ntsc adapter, sold on specialized internet shops (I live in canada, haven't seen anything here)
just type it in a search engine, you'll find lots
you can do a video fix within the ps2, i believe you have to solder a wire between a leg of an IC to the ground, it will then always be NTSC no mater what
yes and no you can do what Mace said but it will only be a color fix not a frequency (hz) fix. ummmmm goto future shop and buy a pal compatible tv... i kno they got them for sale.
