    Hi.

Just installed an Infinity (Blue dot) in my PAL V9 (with Romeo mod). It only boots PAL and NTSC DVD originals, but not my backups. I've checked the installation several times and everything seems to be fine. I've also upgraded the mod to firmware v1.39. Even I've used the H point. Any idea of what's going on?

    TIA, mates.

    I answer myself.

I sent an email to the Matrix guys and they told me that I needed to place a diode (see attached image) to the mod power supply. According to them my problem was a power inestability on the power supply of the PS2. Now everything works perfectly.

I post this information just in case someone gets the same issue (boot only PAL/NTSC originals and PSX backups).

Nowdays it seems the diode factories are having a great business with PS2.

You can find them easily at any electronic components shop although you couldn't need the diode.
