Pal v3 No video, but boots.
Hello guys,
I have a V3 console here with a problem i cant get a solution for.
When i tyurn it on, it gives me a black screen, but the console boots up as normally. Just no video output.
The console had a HK mAgic 4 (don't laugh) but it was removed.
The dvd controller chip had a pin broken off wich caused the dvd player to continiously seek the start point of the lens slider(like it was reset every second) This was repaired.
On the point Q the track leadin in the direction of the bios was cut, but is is repaired. Multimetering around shows a light short on the Q and P pionts (separate) with a resitor shown on the attached pic.
Couldn't find any other shorts. There's no short on the bios (nor visible, nor multimeterable)
Checked the back side of the MB.
The MNOPQTUV points are holes to the "other side :) "
There are a line of resistors, but no short or cut track there.
No fuse has blown.
No other ideas on my mind.
Any suggestions?
