    i went to modchipshop.com and it said that if your model number was scph 30004r, then ur ps2 is either v5 or v6. then they added that to double confirm, u should see 2 screws in the exapnsion bay. if you dun see it, then its v4. however mine is the above mentioned model but i do not see the 2 screws that they specified. so is mine a v5/v6 ps2 or a v4 ps2? anyone can help? here's the website that caused my confusion:

    Your PS2 is V5 or V6. But this difference is not very important... it is only one connecter...
