pal ps2 in usa?

hey i recently moved to florida from london and i brought my chipped ps2 with me along with my games...now i know there is a power difference, so i have ordered a voltage converter....will it now be possible to use my pal ps2? i think i will have to buy a rf unit but im hoping that this should solve the problems

You will probably need to have the unit fixed up with the "color mod" patch, its simply a wire that gets jumped to force the unit into ntsc mode otherwise it will play in black and white.

ok and i will need a new cable to attach it to my ntsc tv right? since no usa tvs have scart sockets...so there is no problem with bringing pal ps2 to usa then...i was worried about this...im glad something can be done
