I just got a USA Ver. 4 PS2 with a Magic 3.1 modchip and i must say it is a really good chip. So far every PS1 CD-r and PS2 CD-r/DVD-rip work perfect. I havent tested DVD-R or DVD-9 yet but i will. I have noticed that i can boot all games from the browser screen just fine and people say that you cant. But my only prob is i have a PAL CD-r copy of Fear effect 2 and a PAL DVD-rip of Onimusha. Both games boot perfectly with no problems, but when it comes to playing them you only see the top half of the games, the rest is just black screen. Now Jap games like Capcom VS SNK 2(CD-r) work Perfect. So some imports work but others dont. Anyone have any suggestions about what i should do to fix this. Thanks.
