    what should i do to prevent overheating for the magic 3.5?

    i get annoyin black screens for ps2 originals, backups (both cd-r and dvd-r).. its pissin me off..


    anyways, would appreciate some help.

    It really should not be a problem unless their is very long gameplay. And a (Heat Conducting Pad) could solve the problem. But if the chip is over heating on power up there may be a bad connection. Could also be a poor laser or a Buggy chip? Maybe a switch to shut it off would help?

    don't trap the chip right between board and case - a good place is off to the side, where fan air can blow. this will help overheating
