i've tried to boot original jap games on a pal ps2 chipped with duochip, but i had no success. a friend of mine got the same problem on a matrix. So i wonder if there's a chip that can do that.

well the O2Mod can force any video mode (NTSC, PAL50 or PAL60). Works with most games, i got a NTSC unit and the only game i found lsowdown/crashing in was CMR2K5.
