I bought a pre-modded ps2 slim, v14 (SCPH 75001) and it has a Modbo chip inside. I try to play Metal Gear Solid Subsistencce Online and right after I select Online Play, something goes wrong with tht ethernet port.. It's connected to my hub (yes, an old hub) and the collision light goes crazy. The collision light pretty much is solidly lit, and I don't get a connection to the Internet on the PS2.

I tried the exact same setup on a PS2 that is not modded and I can connect just fine, so it's not the network setup.. It's the modded PS2..... I realized that there is a disable function on the modbo chip so I did that: hold start while it starts up until it says disabled.. and press reset again while holding start.. but I still get that same problem. Does Sony have a ban list of modded consoles?
