onimusha 3 boot problem

I wonder if anyone has this as well:

I just burned a copy of onimusha 3 and it can boot into the ps2 screen but then I just get a black screen with nothing. Sometimes it gets to the violence and gore warning, then it gives me the black screen.

Maybe it's the damn Magic3?

Works perfectly on Infinity v1.2.

I don't tested on dms3 firmware v2 yet.

This is one of those games that check the TOC twice.So if you have one of the older modchips it will boot it, but when it goes to check for the TOC the second time thats when your modchips stops reading it and you get the black screen.All I can say if you want to play this game you need to upgrade your modchip.

Strange..It boots fine on V9 Magic5k chip..And on V7 Messiah 2 V1.32 without a problem..Matter of fact I was bored and finished the game on both systems without any problems..
