is it ok to put mod chip on top of another chip on the board?

hi

i just finished my v7 board with modbo 760, and i followed popular layout for the v7 board which is to install the mod chip on top of chip that is next to the bios chip

would it cause the chip to over heat & to die eventually?

those chips are are contacted by the shield, so i thought cooling was not necessary...but who knows

any comments?

no it should be fine

Aslong as the chip's connections aren't gounding with the to shield if its not protected.
