odd problem –
04-29-2003,08:45 PM
I shortened the wires on my magic3.1 hoping ps2 backups on cd-r would be fine but they still dont boot (they are on verbatim media). I also in the midst of shortening the wires, I put point O on the wrong pin by accident. Now the blue light on my ps2 doesnt come on but the green one does and i still get the bootup screen along with the capabilities of booting dvd-r ps2 backups and cd-r psx bacups. Whats the problem???
Solderless Mods and Flip tops are like tampons, every pussy needs one!

You may have done something unfortunate to the Reset/Eject cable and/or it's union with the motherboard.
