numbers on the actel chip off the messiah2pro

just looking at a few messiah2 pro chips
there al v1.22a
on the actel chip there is writing

Actel
A54SX32A -F
TQ100 XXXX(4 digit number)
MS2

F(in a square white box on a few of the chips)

and on the green circut board on the bottom right hand corner


KTMB05
94VO XXXX(4 digit nimber)

all nubers are the same on all chips exept there are some differences
the 4 digit number on the chip and board i refered to as XXXX
are different on a lot of the chips. and a few of them have a white litle box with the letter F on the bottom right hand side of the chip
what do these signify?
is there a reason for these markings
the ones with the f in the white box are on a darker green circut board( u can tell if u look in the light.
are some better than others or is it all the same?

i have found out that tha numbers on chip vary i have ones that are 303 and 306
the ones that have 306 also have f in a white box on them

also there is a 4 digit number ont the circut boadrd wich is diff on some?

On the Actel chip, 0306 means year 2003 week 6 - when the wafer was made.

The number on the chip is when the PCB was made.
