Has anyone a V4 30000 PS2 (with 030 BIOS, if this is relevant) running successfully with a Novachip V2? My experience with this chip is that it's highly unreliable... does not recognize the current boot mode (PSX/PS2) properly, runs PSX 'imports' (non-japanese game) only very rarely, does not boot PS2 'imports' /at all/. What is wrong with this chip?_? I'm still weeping over the fact that there's no no-swap modchip for my PS2, since the XO-3a is claimed to work only w/ BIOS version 040, while my system runs a 030. *grumble*
