Hello Guys,
I have a few questions about burnt PS2 games.
First off I got the Swap Magic V3.0 because it said it works without a modchip for V1 thru 10 PS2s.I have read the instuctions many times and still no go.
Now my 1st question is do they really work or what?(I'm using CDR 700mb for my backups). My PS2 is SCPH-50010/N/97016
2) I burn @12x with my burner (PlexWriter 12/10/32A),should I burn @ a lower burn speed?
Thanks for your time.

Most burners these days work fne at higher burn rates, they arent as bad as they used to be. DO you have a friend in the area that can test your disk also?
However I think most of your problem is with the swap magic stuff. THose things are a pain in the ass, you would be better of having a "no swap" mod chip installed. THey are more relable and save you a lot of time, you just put the disk in and youre off. The Messiah 2 pro and the MXL2 chips are my recomendations.
BTW - Welcome to the ps2newz

what r u useing with the swap disk do u have a no solder slide card or flip top ? cause if u dont have 1 of the 3 thats ur problem and ur better off use dvd-rs for ps2 games cause ripping games is dieing and some games r like 4 gigs and it would be hard to fit that on a cd-r lol
check ur pms for more help
