Non functional Modbo

Well, I had a customer send me his Ver5 along with a Modbo.
Pretty routine install except for that it won't boot anything.
The chip was still sealed. Many faulty chips out there? It's a 1.1 and I followed the install diagram off the Modbo website.
Didn't flash it or anything, just installed and fired it up and rsod with backups and browser with originals.
Pretty sure it's a bad chip, I've gone over the install a few times.
Just wanted to check and make sure I didn't have to jump up and down twice and spin around and chant or something to get it to work

well i hav found with modbo's u need to do all the dvd/cd wires, just follow the jap installion diagrams.

Use the +3v input from another point . Like the pint of Vcc from mars chip
