Anybody know why my ps2 with the DMS3 v2.0 seems louder when its on then my ps2 with messiah 2 pro, both are V7 NTSC machines... they both work flawlessly but just out of curiousity... is it because the dms3 is power sensitive?

its probably just the fan and the laser unit that sounds louder, I am sure it doesnt have anything to do with the chip.![]()
yeah i think so too, the system works fine, boot everything... strange
does it make wierd noises on original games?
from wat i heard when a device on ps2 takes more current the fan will run louder ie when u have the network adaptor connected
yeah the noise isn't the dvd-rom, it's just the fan making louder noise... yeah, dms3 is power hungry chip
