No video output after 2 Modbo chip installs.
I sent a PS2 slim SCPH-79001 to a guy that installs modbos 760's, in the first attempt the ps2 would not load all backup games I had that worked ok on a V7 ps2.
So I sent it back to him, disoldered the chip, reinstalled another one, and then NO VIDEO OUTPUT.
This guy killed my ps2 that in order to 'make up' for the damage he gave me another slim a SCPH-75001 with supposedly a chip installed that worked just fine.
Got home, tested it and it does not work
So I'm thinking what could be wrong with my original ps2.
When I power it there are no sounds, on the other ps2 I can hear a sound just like mine when it worked but no output neither.
The amperage on both ps2 vary, my ps2 requires 4.5A versus 5.3A on the 75001, so I don't know if it's just simply an amperage issue where it doesnt give video output.
I dissasembled my ps2 but I didn't found something abnormal, I'm fairly newbie when it comes to soldering, so should I consider both ps2 DEAD??
