no video, cd drive unresponsive

just finished installing a modchip in a v4 no gap ps2. Now on reassembly I plug the ps2 in and the video cable in and it will power up except the cd drive is unresponsive and I get no video. I know there isnt support for this chip here but its a dms 4 lite. What points should I check to see if there messed up?

also i know that wires couldve come loose during reassembly are there any ways to prevent that? also could some wires be grounding out or anything like that? the dvd drive will click when i hit reset but only once and thats it. thanks

Bios points. Check the fuses and laser. There could be a loose wire. Maybe Laser gear. Check for those things.
