no sound or picture plz help

I installed a magic3 with clip kit, after that it would boot only original games. So i took the chip out and now i get no picture or sound. But the machine turns on and I can hear the laser moving and reading the disc.

What could be my problem?

I had the same problem. The steps I took to find the problem.

1. Unsolder the chip, see if it boots normally.
2. Remove the wires from the board, see if it boots normally.
3. Check for solder bridges on the bios. I read a post that Guichi posted about the bios being the chip that usually makes the video crap out. Check that over under a magnifying glass.
4. If all else fails, time to get technical. Grab a multimeter and start checking fuses to see if you've blown one or more. You can check out a great image of fuse locations posted by Charlie_PS2 in the F.A.Q section. You'll have to sort by last 100 days as it's a little older and won't show up if you don't.
