No-solder V4 yellow standby light "ANY IDEAS"

Fitted a V4 No solder mod to 30003 UK machine now i get the standby light in yellow instead of red, everything else seems to work OK though, i have now removed the chip and exactly the same is happening, has anybody out there ever come across this or anybody any ideas what could of caused this.

ME! ideas: just reinstall the chip. dosn't adversally affect anything just teh light is a different color.
