No Originals ??????

Had a v 13 silver in 9 months ago, modded it with MI orange dot. Also changed lasers, as it was a SPU, with lenschanger.
Everything worked like a charm, customer happy
After a day or 2 he came back to me having problems, the system crashed al the time
After an hour of 2 of checking I gave him an other PStwo ( from the kids ) because I couldn't fix it .
Then I start testing it again and found out that it was only crashing with an original game inside, with copies no problem
There are worse things than not playing originals but I found it od.......
I desided to keep this console for the kids as we don't have many original games. After a copple of months my daughter said that it played originals just fine ok, no problem..... now last week it crashed again, several times, even with copies
I opened it up again and found nothing wrong , tried lenschanger again, couldn't harm it more I figured. tried again maybe 5 times no luck
Now all of a sudden it plays again fine, but only copies, originals crash 3 out a 5 times
I think lenschanger messed up the eprom pretty bad
Anyone had this problem to ????
I'm just currious what could be the problem, the machine is playing fine copied games,

I think this is a lenschanger problem. I think you should purchase the laser model originally installed on the console. Was it a PVR802?

Hmmm... what modchip is in that console? I would try to remove the modchip and play originals only to see if the problem still occurs. But that's the last thing I would do.

tried that, same problem.
Cd's though are playing fine, it is only with original dvd-games that the problem occurs .
The chip is a Matrix Infinity orange dot.
But no big deal , it stil plays copies of any game without a problem.
I to assume that lenschanger messed up something.

This is a really odd problem. I really have no idea what could be the problem after all the suggestions I wrote. If this problem occurs with all original games then I'm lost. Try another modchip or remove the modchip. That's the last of my suggestions.
