no more dvd read

i've chipped a v10 ps2 with titansx with ice-code (i made many) but after a couple of week, the ps2 reads only cd and not dvd. if i put a dvd inside is like there's no disc in the consolle.
i removed the chip and i cleaned everypoint, now i guess if there's a drive problem, or it's something related to the mainboard.

any help?

Use a multimeter to measure those points. Turn the multimeter to 200ohms.

coil 1 is 5.5

coil 2 is 5.6

The coils are good. Hmm. Did you do the romeo mod?

no, as always i used a titasx with icecode v9/10 cause i never had a problem with this solution.

Try a different drive. See if the laser is causing this.

i tried to trigger the laser, no result. changed the laser now it's ok

damn sony. this laser lasts only 2 weeks....
