No Installation guide for Mars 2 chip

I have a SPCH-50001 PS2 with the date code 3D
and I cannot find any installation guides for it, I found and installation guide for 5000x with the date code 3D, but that was for a ps2 with gh-026, i have a board version gh-023.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

it's a v9 look for v9 diagrams

I installed the chip, but there is one problem.
Only a few back-up games run properly on it, the rest are just in grayscale and the screen keeps jumping up.
I dont think these games are PAL and even if they were the Mars II chip is supposed to support PAL.

any ideas on what the problem could be?
