No Eject on V4

no-gap bios. all fuses good. no bridges.
reads cd's and dvd's fine but eject button just starts and stops disc spin. it could be a bad BA chip, but i'm not sure how to check if its a bad BA chip? A tutorial on that would be helpful. thank you for you time.

A BA chip that has failed will not show a blue eject light. I hope this helps.

that saved a lot of trouble, but is there a way to fix this?

bad ba will either show no disc spin.. black screen.. no eject light. Theres no way to test it. Make sure your ribbon cable is good.. test all connections.
