No eject, picture, etc

I tried to install an apple II mod chip, with no luck.
I decided to remove the chip, and get the system back to normal.
After I removed the chip, and made sure none of the solder spots were touching, I reassembled the ps2.
When I turn the power on, the reset light goes green. I press the eject button, and the tray comes out about 2 inches, and stops.
Is there something wrong which I am doing here?
I took the system apart before I purchased the mod chip, and I put it back together and it worked perfectly before.

Any ideas???

..he said he took everything out...so it cant be a install error. I have the same problem you have, but I ordered a new BA chip to see if that does it.

lol still it can be a sodler error with or without chip. it's Not that easy to blow a ba chip

I have almost the same problem, cant se anything on the mother board after removing the chip. It looks fine but the cd eject is not normal.
