Ninjamod again, help plz

Ok after my first attempt of fitting a ninjamod in a v5 (that didn't work) last week.

I got another v5 board today installed it and didn't work either, same problem, tested the chip in a v9 and it works put it back in the v5 and nothing.
Does anyone have this problem to, or is it just me.

I bought 5 ninjamod to check them out a while back, out of the 5 I got 2 working, the others went in the bin.

well it is strange its working in a v9 and not the v5

I had a few ninja on gamecube. Half of the chips dont work. Its a super trash chip.
