I'd be really grateful if you could help me; i got a ps2 for christmas [game bundled with online adapter, atv offroad2] and wondering if there is any mod chips can work with online. (the game i want to play online is an original)

All of the new chips, DUO, Magic 50k/50k6, Messiah 2, DMS3 can be disabled for use online.

i think i have a v9 [SCPH-50010/N]

Yes, that's a v9. You need Magic 50k (or 50k6), DMS3 or Messiah 2 PRO v1.33b
