New boot way for Magic 3 and psx backups

well, i was just watching a DVD Film on my V5 Pal Ps2 with Magic 3 chip. I had booted like i'm supposed to for psx games but with a DVD film in (since otherwise it won't boot my movies.. weird? huh ?). so anyway, the movie finished, i pressed eject without reseting it, and it went to that usual browser screen with the memcards etc.. then i put in a psx backup, and there it was, the little black disc appeared. I pressed X and it booted from the browser ;).

Anyway, another question... If lets say i wanted a switch to switch my mod on/off, where would it go? would it be internal? Thx.

Yep you can have an internal switch hooked up to your chip but your gonna have to tke the cover off when you wanna switch LOL

yeah but you can burst a hole in the casing and add one if you really wanted,

but me personally, i would leave it you can turn the magic3 off anyway, by holding reset (from standby) past the blue light and until you hear the disk spin up fast !!!!

Also nice find on the browser boot but it would be quicker doing the normal way coz of watching the film first !!!
