Neofix Xiii vs Sub Zero fix ?

I am trying to buy either Crystal chip or Maxtrix chip for my two console, but run into a problem to fix the laser fix lens, so which shuold I chose

Also they are 2 version of Matrix, should I get the green dot version or regular

I have 1 slim PS2 V12 and 1 regular PS2

Do the sumone fix Aka Subzero or comsoft if V12 Only V13+ dont need fix.. IF you dont install those neofix corectly your going to fry yor board... I have seen this many times over some times they can be fixed but ths far 5 culd not without replaceing SMD resistors on board or rs2000fs chip.. More trubble then the system is worth... Or you culd have me install your chip and il do the laser fix for Free...

I work at the electronic company and have access to many type of SMD resistor, can I just get it and chance them myself or I have to get the laser fix

BTW, the laser fix is the PCB or just some resistor chip ?

How do you incorrectly install them? Like forgot to solder a resistor or soldered to the wrong point? Anything special you have to do with these things?
