I have a V14 PSTwo and just got a MI green dot which also came with one of those neofix laser fixes. Should i bother with installing the Neofix or just install the Matrix chip?
Thanks.

Just install the matrix chip.
v14 doesn't need additional fixes.

I can understand that they're saying v14 needs it just to make extra cash. But is there any harm in installing this in a v14?
When you say there's no need, what makes you sure? Just that you haven't seen any get fried, or did they redesign the laser system?
replace the hxxp with http above
the reddesigned it to stop the mech crash
Well this didn't go so well. I installed my mod chip and now my ps2 won't come on at all. not even the red stand by light. Took the chip back out and still nothing. What do you think the chances are that a professional installer would be able to fix it or is my ps2 a doorstop now?
it might just be a blown fuse if ur looky
They redesigned what, the ps2, or the modchip?Originally Posted by jenko
