Neo 2.6 wire-solder help –
After soldering wire #1 (black), just to be certain, I checked the continuity between this point and the adjacent pin of the chip or resistor. My meter showed me negligible resistance between the two pins. I continued with the other wires and procedure however, I haven?t yet tried out my PS2. Is that because of the solder bridging the two pins or is it normal?
If you read any sort of continuity between the two adjacent pins, you have a short and odds are when you finally do try out your handy work, there'll be problems.
I'd suggest you go back and use some solder braid to clean up that point and re-do it right if you want the machine to work correctly.
